Antique Photo / Three Young Women / Japanese / Dated 1906. This image is in basically good condition. The detail is good but the focus softens a little under magnification. The tones in the close-up sample scan are fairly close to those of the actual image. This Japanese photo of three young women is dated on its back, as having been taken in Meiji 39 (1906), and was shot by S. Okamoto photo studio. The inscription also gives the young women's given names, and says "Best Friends". This image is in basically good condition. There are no tears or significant scratches, but there are some smudges and some age-spots. The detail is good but the focus softens a little under magnification. The tones in the close-up sample scan are fairly close to those of the actual image. The matting has some smudges and wear at the edges and corners. Image: W2 1/4" (57mm) X H3 1/2" (88mm).
