Godinger Email de Limoges 7.5” Plate Enameled a Butterfly & Fruits in a Basket. It is made of fine Limoges porcelain, and was hand decorated in San Marino of Italy. A plate this size, is considered a salad or dessert plate. This is for a porcelain plate, about 7.5 inches in diameter made in Limoges France for the Godinger company of the US. It is made of fine Limoges porcelain, and was hand decorated in San Marino of Italy. It is such a pretty enamel design with a butterfly flying over an overflowing basket of fruits. The plate is 7 & 1/2 inches in diameter and weighs about 9 ounces. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Looking at an angle to the light, I see no marks or wear to the enameled design. A plate this size, is considered a salad or dessert plate.
