It is made of fine Limoges porcelain, and was hand decorated in San Marino of Italy. It is such a pretty enamel design with a butterfly flying over an overflowing basket of fruits. The plate is 7 & 1/2 inches in diameter and weighs about 9 ounces. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Looking at an angle to the light, I see no marks or wear to the enameled design. A plate this size, is considered a salad or dessert plate. I pack with lots of bubble wrap for safe shipping and ship out quickly, sometimes same day, always by next business day, and sometimes on Saturdays if I can make it to the post office before they close at noon.
