DIY Oscillating Drill Press Arm Tool

Oscillating Arm tool- Offered is a user made wood box with a motor mounted inside with protruding shaft having an oscillating arm. Box is made of finished oak to very precision dimensions, a nice piece on its own. Box is 7" long, 4" wide x 4 1/2" tall with brackets for mounting to a drill press user marked "Drill Press". Brackets are two piece with 2 1/2" ID mounting holes held together by screws. A small motor is mounted inside the vented box with a shaft protruding out one side where a 31/2"diam. phenolic wheel is attached. The wheel has 4 threaded holes for mounting a threaded shaft with swivel ends. Holes are unequally spaced around the shaft to give different oscillating distances, less than 1/2". Box has ventilation screens on each end. Motor mounted inside with switch on outside. Motor reads T. P. L., 120 V, 60 HZ, 13T-150,7AM206A5. Runs very smoothly & sounds good. The wood case is a work of art with precision fit parts with clear finish. Acquired from estate of a professional engineer that made most of his own tools as evidenced here.
