This seller needed to properly package the cup. It was lovely, but the packaging was wholly inadequate and USPS appeared to have dropped something on the box, cracking the base of the cup. Nowhere on the box was it marked fragile, either. The seller was great about instant refund, but the mug was EXACTLY what I was looking for, and it arrived unusable. I've been continuing to look for a replacement, but there is nothing exactly like it. Extremely disappointing.
Such a scary experience. I was expecting 2 separate boxes for the shipping price I paid for each item or at least a shipping discount. The box was very VERY flimsy and almost broken into as all the tape was practically missing. Both were unwrapped and floating in the box with bubble wrap floating also. Not something I want to go through again. So surprised they were not broken. Very beautiful items that should have been treated as such.
I had one of these years ago when they were first offered by Franklin Mint, but it did get broken during a move. I have been sorry ever since. Now I find this one on Ebay and take the gamble. I have to give it to the seller, he pulled off a miracle, it arrived unbroken. I thought it was going to be impossible to pack properly without the original packaging. He did it though, Thank you very much.
