Im darauf folgenden Kapitel wird das Fachkonzept der Sozialraumorientierung mit Ihren funf methodischen Prinzipien vorgestellt. Um der Frage nachzugehen, wie sich sozialraumorientierte Arbeitsmarktpolitik darstellt wird zunachst thematisiert was Raum bzw. Sozialraum grundsatzlich meint. Im Anschluss daran wird die Idee der sozialraumorientierten Arbeitsmarktpolitik vorgestellt und diskutiert, ob sich durch die arbeitsmarktpolitischen Instrumente des Stadtebaufoerderprogramms "Soziale Stadt" und des BIWAQ etwas fur die Menschen in den benachteiligten Quartieren verandert und ob sich weitere positive Effekte fur die benachteiligten Menschen der Zielgruppe ergeben. Anschliessend wird der Frage nachgegangen wie die Wirtschaft vor Ort gestarkt werden kann, um den Menschen in ihren "Nahraumen" Arbeitsplatze anzubieten. Abschliessend wird das Thema Bildung im Quartier mit seinen weitreichenden Auswirkungen auf die Berufskarrieren der betroffenen Menschen diskutiert.
