Spectrum HO 2-6-6-2 Articulated Steam Locomotive. Will crawl if wanted, and has. This is one of my favorite steam locomotives out of a 120 locomotive collection. However--- the tender is now attached permanently to the locomotive for the decoder wiring in. Spectrum HO 2-6-6-2 DCC Articulated Steam Locomotive.This is one of my favorite steam locomotives out of a 120 locomotive collection. Its extremely detailed, and I added a Soundtrax DCC decoder along with a current keeper. Has been weathered, and includes a glowing firebox controlled by the decoder. Very small holes are drilled into the coal load for the speaker. Sounds great! Note: Comes with original box and all documentation for model and added Soundtrax. However--- the tender is now attached permanently to the locomotive for the decoder wiring in the tender. I put one twist in the wiring to take up slack. It's now packed into the box with a lot of bubble wrap on an angle to fit it in. Not in the original foam cutouts. This model functions extremely well, and was tested again on 6/26/26. Will crawl if wanted, and has excellent sounding chuffs, as well as whistle, bell, and other options included with the Soundtrax decoder.
