The rim of the box has black velvet as shown in the photos. One piece of the black velvet is missing as shown in the photos. It’s not noticeable. You could replace it. The black velvet show some signs of age on the edges as shown in the photos. Overall this beautiful piece of art is gorgeous! The dimensions are about 28.5 X 20.5 X 2.5”. It weighs about 12.5 Lb.
