Il nostro obiettivo è stato quello di studiare la validità della classificazione ecografica EU-Tirads 2017 eseguendo un confronto : abbiamo condotto uno studio retrospettivo nel periodo dal 2017 al 2020, coinvolgendo 300 pazienti operati per patologia nodulare della tiroide e sottoposti a ecografia tiroidea utilizzando la classificazione EUTIRADS 2017. I pazienti sono stati gestiti presso il Dipartimento di Orecchio, Naso e Gola dell'Ospedale Mohamed Taher Maâmouri di Nabeul, : abbiamo riscontrato percentuali di previsione di malignità pari a 0%, 22,1%, 41,4% e 36,4% per i noduli classificati EUTIRADS 2, 3, 4 e 5 rispettivamente. È stata rilevata un'associazione statisticamente significativa di predizione di malignità per il punteggio EUTIRADS 5. Due criteri del punteggio 5, ossia un'alta percentuale di malignità, sono stati considerati come un'opzione di prelievo.
