I risultati hanno portato alle seguenti conclusioni: i frutti hanno mostrato valori medi associati alle variabili qualitative che conferiscono loro qualità che rientrano negli standard per la commercializzazione sul mercato nazionale. Il grado di dolcezza dei frutti di papaya, misurato dal rapporto TSS/ATT, presenta valori medi, se si considerano tutti i trattamenti (primario e secondario), fino al doppio del valore medio di riferimento per i frutti del Gruppo Formosa.
