The clonal seed orchard of Bauhinia variegata was established in June 2011 in Randomized Block Design with three observations were made on the growth performance of the clones in the clonal seed orchards over the years and top fifteen clones were selected for further analysis. Among the phenological observations best flowering and fruting was recorded in clone C 11 (Jhajjer koti) and clone C 15 (Sahastharadhara), Clones C 14 (Palampur) and C15 (Sahastharadhara ) showed outstanding performance for most of the morphometric traits including highest green leaf yield i.e. 13.10 kg and 8.00 kg per tree.
