Trata-se de um estudo prospetivo descritivo no qual participaram voluntariamente 44 pessoas. Análise dos resultados. Os dados revelaram uma maior adesão terapêutica nos homens e um nível de stress mais baixo ou quase nulo, sendo o oposto nas mulheres, que apresentaram um nível médio e baixo de adesão terapêutica e um nível de stress nas categorias de ocasionalmente e frequentemente. Conclusões. Os dados sugerem um estudo mais aprofundado destas relações, pois parece que a população feminina apresenta como factores de risco uma baixa adesão ao tratamento e níveis de stress frequentes.
