Data were collected using a survey questionnaire in the Bagira Health Zone. Our survey revealed that 99% of respondents had already heard of complementary feeding. Almost all respondents knew that complementary feeding is the introduction of food supplements to breast milk at 6 months. Ordinary porridge was identified as the very first food to be introduced by 9 out of 10 respondents (91.8%), and almost all (97.9%) mentioned the age of over 24 months as the weaning is important to reinforce women's knowledge of the composition of meals to be given to children, so that they have a balanced diet.
