Methanolische Extrakte von Zornea diphylla, Andrographis paniculata, Ocimum sanctum, Euphorbia hirta, Ipomea obscura, Tridax procumbens, Tephrosia hirta und Croton bonplandianus zeigten eine höhere antibakterielle Aktivität gegen fünf Testbakterien. Wässrige Extrakte von Euphorbia hirta, Tridax procumbens und Croton bonplandianus zeigten eine höhere antibakterielle Aktivität. In der vorliegenden Untersuchung wurde festgestellt, dass methanolische Pflanzenextrakte von zehn Taxa im Vergleich zu wässrigen Extrakten derselben Taxa eine höhere antibakterielle Aktivität (Hemmzone) gegen fünf ausgewählte Bakterien aufwiesen.
