Nonostante i progressi della diagnostica per immagini e della neurochirurgia, i dati su questi tumori rimangono limitati. Lo scopo di questo studio è stato quello di analizzare le caratteristiche cliniche, radiologiche, istologiche ed evolutive dei TPP. Nell'arco di 28 anni (1996-2023) è stato condotto uno studio retrospettivo bicentrico in due reparti di neurochirurgia tunisini su pazienti operati per una TPP con conferma istologica. Sono stati raccolti e analizzati dati clinici, radiologici, chirurgici, anatomopatologici ed evolutivi. L'età media era di 29 anni, con una predominanza maschile. Il sintomo principale era l'ipertensione intracranica. La risonanza magnetica ha mostrato un enhancement omogeneo nei pinealocitomi e caratteristiche più aggressive nei pinealoblastomi. La gestione chirurgica dei nostri pazienti è consistita nel trattamento dell'idrocefalo in dieci pazienti. In 8 pazienti è stata eseguita una biopsia. Sono stati inclusi 4 pinealocitomi, 1 PPT intermedio (grado 3) e 8 pinealoblastomi.
