Vintage No 4 Size Smoothing Bench Plane Made In USA Woodworking Tool. Wood rear handle/tote and front knob are present and show wear. Vintage No. 4 size smoothing bench plane. Plane measures approximately 9 inches long and is marked “Made in U.S.A.” Manufacturer is not confirmed. I do not see a visible Stanley or Bailey marking, so this is being listed as an unknown maker / unbranded smoothing plane. The plane shows age, patina, surface rust/oxidation, dust/grime, finish wear, scratches, and general use wear from age and storage. Wood rear handle/tote and front knob are present and show wear. Blade/iron, cap iron, lever cap, depth adjustment wheel, and lateral adjustment lever are present. This has not been restored or fully cleaned.
