The beautiful long bonnet, wire spoke wheels and open cockpit make this one of Corgi’s most recognisable and desirable models. Issued between 1964 and 1968. Features: • Silver vacuum-plated body • Blue and yellow bonnet racing stripe with number ‘2’ — bold and intact • Racing number ‘2’ roundel on boot — intact • Jaguar leaper badge on nose — present • Chrome front bumper — present • Open cockpit with black bucket seats • Detailed wire spoke wheels — all four present • Spring suspension Condition; Fair-Good. Silver vacuum plating shows wear with yellow primer visible along lower body edges and seams — typical and very common on this model after 60 years. The iconic E-Type shape remains crisp and well-defined. Both racing decals (bonnet stripe and boot roundel) are notably intact and clear. Wire spoke wheels all present and looking good. No box.
