The engine number is 3965. · This DC engine is DCC-ready featuring Quick Plug™ plug-and-play technology with an 8 or 9-pin connector. · Announced by Athearn in October, 2015 and long out of stock. · This engine appears to be MINT and un-run (except for my bench testing). Upon close examination, the only issue that I could find is a paint scratch or smear on the antenna dome on top of the cab roof (please see accompanying picture). I believe this to be a factory issue as the rest of the engine appears to be gorgeous and perfect. · Genesis driveline with 5-pole skew wound motor, precision machined flywheels, Genesis Trucks, multi-link drivetrain for trouble free operation, all-wheel drive with precision gears for smooth and quiet operation and all-wheel electrical pickup for reliable current flow. · Directional lighting with illuminated ditch lights. · Wire grab irons. · Full cab interior detailed and painted with control stand, display screens, detailed crew seats. · And much, much more. · This engine comes with Kadee type couplers installed. · Directional lights and ditch lights work. · Tested (I test everything I sell); this engine appears to run smoothly in both forward and reverse. · Includes all original paperwork. · The box is in excellent, slightly shopworn condition.
