Foram realizadas experiências de extração com solventes em condições variáveis de pH, temperatura, tempo de contacto e concentração inicial de poluentes. A espetroscopia UV-Vis foi utilizada para construir curvas de calibração e quantificar a eficiência da extração. Globalmente, o estudo demonstra que os DES hidrofóbicos são solventes ecológicos rentáveis, biodegradáveis e altamente eficientes, oferecendo uma alternativa sustentável aos solventes orgânicos convencionais para o tratamento de águas residuais e a remoção de poluentes.
