Vintage Blue Banded Stoneware Shallow Bowl Bretby? Pet Dish Crock. This is a little 5.5" round salt glaze stoneware pottery bowl. It is shallow at just 1.5" tall, perhaps for a dip, butter or cheese, or for a pet dish. It is in good condition, there is a spot of blue glaze on the edge- it is not a crack! The bottom is scuffed which is what makes me think it was a pet dish but also has scraped off any makers marks.
