Description
Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles (2009) Don Felder - softbound VG+. For auction is a great copy of Don Felder's tell-all book about his time in the '70s country-rock juggernaut The Eagles: from the drink and drug-fueled misbehavior to the (sometimes violent) ego clashes with Don Henley and Glenn Frey, Felder lets it all hang out in this fast-moving true story of sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. He relates with a lot of irritation how it was HE who wrote the entire guitar piece for Hotel California (including Joe Walsh's part during the long solo), only to see Henley and Frey repeatedly try to take credit for it...A very interesting read! Condition is very good: there are very light signs of wear on the cover, just around the edges, but the inside pages are like new with no markings or any kind, and no folded, bent or torn pages. It looks like a new book that has been looked through a few times in a store. I will ship it in a padded mailing envelope with extra bubblewrap for added protection. Thanks for looking!
