These beautiful busts of a boy and girl are, from the best of my research, Napco (National Potteries Co.) from the 1960's or 70's and were originally designed as replicas of famous 18th century French sculptures depicting the Brongniart children Alexandre and Louise. These beautiful busts of a boy and girl are, from the best of my research, Napco (National Potteries Co.) from the 1960's or 70's and were originally designed as replicas of famous 18th century French sculptures depicting the Brongniart children Alexandre and Louise. they are in nice condition no cracks or fixes that I can see. As per my video and pictures you can see flaws in the original manufacture process where you can see specks and lines from the mold. Their felt bottoms are in tact and they each have a made in Japan sticker on the bottom. I think they will make a stunning addition to someone's bookshelf or fire mantel.
