Antique White Ironstone Veg. Serving Dish w Lid Uncommon Finial Good Condition. Lovely uncommon find for us. Up for sale is an antique white ironstone serving dish, commonly called a vegetable serving dish, with a lovely lid that fits perfectly. This was recently found at auction in the Lancaster County PA area. There are some marks on the bottom but can't make it out, very tiny maker's name. Very unusual finial with ivy, corn like but the ivy makes it something else, unknown to us. Some crazing, knife marks, glaze glitches, but good used condition. Overall without the 1" handles, the dish is 8x11" rim to rim, with the finial it is about 7" tall but could always be stored with the lid upside down. Lovely uncommon find for us.
