HO Scale Proto 2000 EMD E8/9, New York Central 4064. Model was previously upgraded with DCC. Has an LED headlight and cab light, though they are not wired to anything. LEDs will need resistors before use. Great starting point for a project as all wiring is color-coded to the NMRA standard. Model was previously upgraded with DCC. Has an LED headlight and cab light, though they are not wired to anything. I reinstalled the original circuit board but couldn’t figure out which wires went where to make the model run so it is currently hard-wired with no lights attached. LEDs will need resistors before use. Great starting point for a project as all wiring is color-coded to the NMRA standard. Locomotive shell and chassis will be packed separately along with having the pilot and front coupler removed to avoid damage. Motor flywheels may need balanced as the model runs on the noisy side at high speed.
