Lionel 8801 Blue Comet steam locomotive + 6 cars* O gauge train set preowned. The tender plug has been upgraded and both the engine and the tender are fully functional. Forward, reverse, neutral, lights and smoke all functional. The engine and tender do not have their original boxes. Pre-loved Lionel 8801 Blue Comet steam engine with tender and 6 cars. The tender plug has been upgraded and both the engine and the tender are fully functional. Forward, reverse, neutral, lights and smoke all functional. The train and tender show some light wear. The engine and tender do not have their original boxes. The 5 cars that are included with boxes are: 6-9536 Bernard (baggage) 6-9537 Halley (combo) 6-9538 Faye (passenger) 6-9539 Westphal (passenger) 6-9540 Tempel (observation) All of the boxes show average wear and one or two have loose windows (on the box, not the train car). The cars themselves look nice and show only light wear. Also included is a 6th car, 19000 Giacabini (dining), however one set of it's wheel sets are missing two retainers (wheels are included) and it is unknown if it lights up. Also, something is loose inside of it as it rattles when you move it around. Additionally, this one is missing its box. I do have videos of the train running, and the cars lighting up but every time I upload to eBay, it kicks the video out. If you need more pictures or info, I'm happy to help.
