"Chimney Sweep" by Goebel Double crown mark * incised "12." only * Babyface finish Height 15.5 cm (about 6 1/4 inches). TMK 1 "Crown Mark". The figurine was made between 1935 and 1949. It has under the base a stamped as well as an incised TMK 1 "Crown Mark", is a so-called double crown figurine. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1935. Incised "12." only. This was later changed to "12/I". Shiny "babyface" finish. This piece is larger than later pieces. In the last picture I added a later piece Hum # 12/I as well as a smaller version Hum # 12/2/0 so that you can compare. You buy here only the old piece, last picture on the right. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, crazing, repairs or the likes. Please feel free to contact me anytime for further information.
