As espécies taxonomicamente estudadas revelaram 2 famílias (Scarabeidea, Aphodiidea), 3 subfamílias (Scarabainae, Coprinae, Aphodiinae) e 8 géneros. A análise dos resultados através do cálculo de índices ecológicos revelou que a nossa biodiversidade de coprófagos é moderadamente diversificada e regista um H' = 2,67 bits.
